Gallery of oil portrait of previous Ombudsmen

The generosity of António de Almeida Foundation, chaired by Fernando Aguiar-Branco, through the work of the painter João Freitas, allowed to stay close to us the faces of those who represented and served this State body. The gallery of oil portraits of previous Ombudsmen, inaugurated on March 18th, 2015, is a tribute to their work and their commitment to protect and to defend human rights.
