Inês Planas Raposo de Almeida Costa was born in Coimbra on 14 November 1988. She has a degree in Law (2010) from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra and a master’s degree in legal and criminal sciences (2012) from the same institution. Trainee lawyer, in the areas of corporate law and company monitoring, technology, media and telecommunications, intellectual property and dispute resolution – focus on criminal and misdemeanour law, at the law firm PLMJ, Advogados SP, RL (from September 2012 to October 2015) and associate lawyer, in this last practice area and at that law firm (from October 2015 to September 2019). Associate Lawyer (until March 2020) and Senior Associate Lawyer (from March 2020 to September 2022) in the area of Criminal Law, Misdemeanour Law and Compliance in the law firm Vieira de Almeida e Associados, having been recognized as “Rising Star” and “Key Lawyer” by the international directory “The Legal 500 (legalease)” in the category “fraud and white-collar crime” (in April 2022 and in April 2023). She is author and co-author of monographs and published legal and opinion articles.
