Patrícia Fragoso Martins

Patrícia Fragoso Martins was born in Lisbon, in 1978. She is a Law Professor at the Catholic University of Portugal School of Law, in Lisbon, where she originally graduated, later obtained a M. Phil., and a Ph.D. in European Union Law. She holds a LL.M from King’s College London School of Law and has been a Visiting Researcher at Columbia University School of Law. She has been dedicated to teaching and researching mostly in the fields of EU Law, International Law, Fundamental Rights and Case Method, having authored several publications in these areas. She was Executive Director of the Católica Research Centre for the Future of Law; Executive Coordinator of the Arbitration Centre at the Catholic University; Legal Counsel for the Ministry of Justice; and Alternate Member of the Management Board of the Fundamental Rights Agency of the EU.
