Strategies against poverty and social exclusion, challenges in access to employment and mechanisms for greater political participation by young people were some of the topics under discussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the eve of the High Level Conference on the European Social Charter, held under the auspices of the Council of Europe, the participating organisations also adopted a <a href=\"https:\/\/rm.coe.int\/ecosoc-platform-statement-vilnius-1-07-2024-final-en\/1680b093ef\">joint declaration<\/a> reaffirming their commitment to the protection and implementation of the social rights guaranteed under the Charter.
