The Ombudsman has its permanent premises in Lisbon, with extensions in the Autonomous Regions of Madeira and the Azores.
The Ombudsman’s annual budget is included in the Parliament’s budget.  For the year 2015, with current expenses and capital expenditure, the budget was € 5 019 880.00.
On September 30rd, 2015, there were 100 persons working for this State body.
