International Holocaust Remembrance Day

Today, January 27th, the International Holocaust Remembrance Day is celebrated, to honor the millions of people who died and suffered and also to preserve the memory of this event in the world history.
The Ombudsman of Portugal is marking the date to remind victims, violation of the most basic rights, racism, persecution, annihilation of national, ethnic and religious communities and the dehumanization.
