Tiago Fidalgo de Freitas holds an LL.M. from New York University School of Law (New York, USA) and the European University Institute (Florence, Italy). He is an Invited Assistant Professor at the University of Lisbon School of Law, where he obtained his law degree, and has been an Assistant Researcher and Executive Coordinator of the Lisbon Public Law Research Centre since 2012. He has practised as a lawyer and legal consultant since 2004 and has served as a consultant to CEJURE – State Legal Centre since 2018. From 2021 to 2026, he was a member of CADA – the Commission for Access to Administrative Documents, elected by the Portuguese Parliament. He has published academic work, participated in conferences and research projects, and delivered training both in Portugal and abroad in the fields of Constitutional Law and Fundamental Rights, Administrative Law, European Union Law and Public International Law.
