Campaign: “Better justice for children in situations of domestic violence”.
The Ombudsman joins in the dissemination of the IJCC- Improving Justice in Child Contac European campaign "Better justice for children in situations of domestic violence" promoted in Portugal by CESIS- Centro de Estudos para a Intervenção Social and UMAR – União de Mulheres Alternativa e Resposta.
Following this work, two short animated films were made, respectively aimed at children and young people. Subtitled and adapted for the Portuguese case, it is hoped that they can be set up with a support tool for children and/or young people in a situation of domestic violence, directing them to the helplines specifically addressed to them, including the Children’s Line of the Ombudsman’s Office.
