Conference United Nations’ Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman and Degrading Treatment or Punishment: challenges in its 30th anniversary
The Portuguese Ombudsman, as National Preventive Mechanism, promotes, in partnership with the Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Conference United Nations’ Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman and Degrading Treatment or Punishment: challenges in its 30th anniversary. This event will take place on June 26th, at 10:00a.m., in Biblioteca da Rainha (Queen’s Library), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the aim to discuss prevention of torture and the defence of persons deprived of liberty’s rights.
