Ombudsmen of Portugal and Cape Verde sign Cooperation Protocol

he Ombudsmen of Portugal and Cape Verde, Maria Lúcia Amaral and José Carlos Delgado, signed a Cooperation Protocol to strengthen the conditions for sharing knowledge, good practices and exchanging experiences, as well as facilitating citizens’ access to their institutions.

The Protocol foresees, among others, the development of joint actions of capacity building and exchange, namely of specialized technicians, so that both institutions may better serve in the promotion and defense of rights, freedoms, guarantees and legitimate interests of citizens.

The Protocol was signed in Lisbon, on 25 June 2021, at the headquarters of the Portuguese Ombudsman.
